I wasn't too impressed with this place. The Strawberry lemonade was good , and the multigrain pancakes were ok. The service was good other than it being a bit slow. And the pricing for some didn't make sense...like a salad was 8 bucks but the griddle combo was only 6? If I want diner food...I'll probably end up going to a local one.

Food was very disappointing. The "home fries" were just chopped up boiled potatoes, the portions were small, even the regular meals weren't enough to fill up my kids. The scrambled eggs resembled the flimsy flakes left on the pan after cooking eggs. Service wasn't awful, but it wasn't great either. Next time my family and I will probably just stay at home and make our own breakfast.

This was not good. The food wasn't good. The fact that the waitress forgot to bring my moms eggs until half way through the meal even though she was given frequent reminders wasn't good. But the thing that was the worst was the bathrooms. I smelled them before I went in. The rotten egg scent of sewage. And they had people seated in the restaurant directly next to these stinky bathrooms!! When I went in both toilets had poop splatter inside and one had no toilet paper. It was so disgusting!! I was instantly nauseous. To me, if you can't bother to clean a restaurants bathrooms where customers can see how do I know you clean the kitchen where we can't? It was unacceptable and almost as unappetizing as the sausage links full of hard pieces.

Terrible experience. Server insisted i get something to drink other than water and got everyone at my table drinks except for myself and I had to ask twice for the water. Plus we only seen her when she took our order and brought out the food. The place wasn't even busy. Then our food took thirty minutes to come out and when it did my order was wrong and my bacon and my dad's steak came out burnt. All the server had to say was that she put it in the way we asked and not sure why it came out bad and wrong. Atleast the manager tried to correct the situation, but it was too late. Not going to attempt eating there again. Go to Perkins or First Watch.

I love bob evans, I love their breakfast food, I love lunch, I love their country style food. Their cakes and pies are to die for. I can't wait to attend the farm festival in Ohio someday.

It's a chain and I don't frequent this place, however I find that when I want really good sausage gravy this is where I come. It's hard to beat theirs! They have a breakfast that's one biscuit, one egg covered with sausage and cream gravy, that I sub out for sausage gravy. It's sooo good and it's the perfect amount of food. I can usually eat most of it without feeling super stuffed. I can't stand that feeling. They have remodeled this location and it looks great, however they did away with most of the booth seating and its mostly tables. I personally think booths are more comfortable. Our server was new but she got the food right and never let us go without drink refills, so no issue there. I'll be back in a year or so lol

We arrived at this restaurant at 11:45am on Thanksgiving. The only menu available was their Thanksgiving menu. We had a choice of turkey or ham however they had no ham. We had a choice of 5 types of pies but only 2 were available. Keep in mind this was the beginning of the day. Service was absolutely terrible and the whole experience was awful. The Thanksgiving special was advertised on TV for 10.99 but they chose to charge 12.99. We will never go back.

My girlfriend and I visited Bob Evans on us 19 for the first time today for breakfast. Our server, Mary, greeted us as soon as we sat down. She was a breath of fresh air in an otherwise horrible experience. She, and the bacon, are the only reason we have given this resturant two stars. Our troubles start when our food came to our table. I had ordered a classic breakfast. 2 eggs scrambled, french toast, and bacon. I enjoyed my bacon, which was cooked perfectly. My girlfriend ordered 3 pancakes, sausage, and hash browns. Upon cutting into the top pancake it was gooey and extremely undercooked. She set aside that pancake and went on to the second which was the same way. At this point she has lost her appetite for the pancakes and decided to move on to the hash browns which were very soggy in the middle and also extremely undercooked. At this point we tell our server Mary about the problems with our food and she offers us more food or something to take home which I agree is the correct response. My girlfriend had a few bites of food, trying each thing, and she sent it away to be thrown away. Due to our time constraints we were unable to wait around for more food. Upon dropping the check off we notice it had a 20% employee discount on her meal. I thought this was insane. Why pay for 80% of the meal when everything was undercooked and she barely touched it. At this point, we asked to speak to the manager. Clerance, the manager came to our table 5 minutes later and stopped for only a second to say he would be right back. 10 minutes later there is no sign of him and we find him behind the cashier computer checking customers out. We decide at this point we would face the man head on. We storm up there and tell him "since you don't want to come to us we will come to you. None of my meal was cooked correctly and I don't want to pay for it" Clerance didn't say but two words in the whole conversation except you owe me 9.87 which was the price of my meal. He didn't offer any apologies, he didn't ask what they could do to fix the problem, or even just simply ask us to come back at a different time ensuring us this will not happen again. We paid our bill and stormed out behind another angry customer. Needless to say, we will not be visiting bob evans again. To be a manager in a service industry you must be able to be a people person or at the very least, fake that you are. Clerance showed no respect for his job or customers and he is the reason I am writing this review. I hope to hear something back from the company or even Clerance himself expressing why a national chain operates in this manner. Ryan mitchell

Nope. Thought this would be a typical "it wasn't great but it wasn't that BAD" experience but we did not enjoy our meal here. Restaurant was not busy, we were seated by a hostess quickly and then waited...and waited...for someone to come by. What's funny is that there was what looked like a manager standing right behind us just chitchatting away with a regular the whole time we were waiting. Server finally came by and apologized for the wait and got our drink and food orders...so no biggie, it's all good..and then she forgot to bring us our drinks lol. My beef and vegetable soup was ok canned soup. Husband's salad had extreme amount of cheese on it and was not enjoyable. Chopped steak menu description "juicy 100% black Angus chopped steak"- don't think so and the mushrooms looked burnt. I had the "slow roasted pot roast" with "fresh" baby carrots. Those carrots were canned. I'm pretty sure the mashed potatoes were boxed. Our son was the only smart one and ordered a breakfast plate that he said was decent. Our meal ended with the apple cinnamon blossoms that our server recommended. What could go wrong here right? It looked ok to eat- unfortunately the dough was not cooked all the way through and was still gooey and raw. I'm thinking, maybe you are only supposed to order breakfast here, and it probably would have been ok. You would also think our server would say something about our mainly untouched meal but no. She just took our plates away and gave us our bill. So we basically just paid $38 (before tip) for some dinner rolls, because this was the only decent part of our meal.

Everything seemed off at this restaurant, which is a pretty sure sign of poor management. I ordered the 'Be Fit Breakfast', and nothing was right. The server unapologetically informed me they were out of 'Egg Lites', so I received a minuscule amount of scrambled egg in its place. The cranberry multi-grain pancakes were made with the wrong batter, a super-sweet pancake batter with too much vanilla flavoring, and the cranberries were candied, like they belonged in a fruitcake instead. The tomato slices were missing altogether, and when I requested them, I received three slices of unripe yet mealy tomatoes with bad spots I had to eat around. The best part of the meal was the fruit, even though it was a couple days past being fresh. I gently passed along feedback on the obviously incorrect pancake batter, and the server's response was to make excuses about the changing menu. A trip to the ladies room was not redeeming. There was a worn printed label on the toilet to hold the handle to flush. Clearly this was a long-standing issue, and management's solution was to print a label so customers don't inconvenience staff by leaving their broken commode un-flushed. The icing on the cake was a bone-dry empty soap dispenser, ensuring that the entire wait staff, all females, could not wash their hands after a visit to the restroom. We loved Bob Evans prior to visiting this restaurant, but I don't think we will ever go back to another one.

Good, home style, quality, tasteful, and healthy food at reasonable prices. Can always rely on Bob Evans. Only reason for not giving 5 stars is the service, this evening, September 26, 2014, was slow. Service could have been better, more responsive.

I really love Bob Evans for some reason. The food is not great, the service is okay, but I love it. If it were up to my Husband we would never eat here; ever. I think my fascination has to do with one thing: the Wildfire Chicken Salad. This salad is SO good and I crave it like a pregnant lady craves cheetos (they do, right?). The salad has a "wildfire ranch" dressing that is ranch mixed with wildfire barbeque and it is addicting. The salad itself has chicken (grilled or fried...I like fried), corn, tomatoes, scallions (I get it without those) and fritos on top. It also comes with a bread of your choice. I normally get blueberry or banana nut bread depending on what they have at that time. I will admit that most of their other food is just okay. A lot of it tastes like cafeteria food. If you eat here get the Wildfire Chicken Salad.

Sirloin Steak!!! Yes a great steak at Bob Evans. I would not of expected that here, but having it many times over this winter, it is surprisingly excellent. Thin cut not thick but so tender you can cut it with your fork. And having tasty flavor and several opinions for sides at $10.99 is well worth the price. Not charcoal broiled or grilled but cooked very flavorful and also Blacked available.
